CenterStage follows my journey over more than a decade as I discovered who I am through dance. Growing up in Austin with Indian immigrant parents, I often felt like I was balancing two worlds. Through Bharatanatyam and Western dance, I gradually learned that I didn't have to choose between them.

The documentary captures milestones that have shaped my life, from my three-hour Arangetram and performances at Guruvayur and Chidambaram temples in India to jazz and hip-hop performances back home in Texas. Through conversations with my family, teachers, and mentors, it explores not only my growth as a dancer but also the experiences that shaped my identity.

More than anything, this documentary is about how dance became much more than a performance for me. It became a source of confidence, resilience, and belonging, and ultimately inspired many of the projects I continue to build today.
